The Diseases

Noticing concurrent changes in a patient's fibromyalgia symptoms and dental tarter, which is composed of calcium phosphate, Dr. P. St. Amand linked calcium phosphate accumulation to fibromylagia. Over time, he developed a theory to explain the role of phosphates as the root of the FM/CFS problem and in a wide range of symptoms affecting nearly every body system.

Our project began with making individualized homeopathic remedies within the context of the theories of Dr. P. St. Amand. We developed these remedies based on the needs of each individual who was part of this project. As we discovered people's needs, we learned more and more about the factors and variables indicated in the diseases in the octopus pictures above.

The diseases and symptoms in the outer circle of the octopus picture indicate some possible effects from excess calcium phosphate in various parts of the body. The inner ring of injury, genetics, CMV and nanobacteria indicates some of the possible factors that may contribute to excess calcium phosphate accumulation. We think there are likely other viral factors that have not been researched yet. This is discussed further in The Pineal Gland.

The Diagnosis

As of August 2002, we have made remedies for people who had previously been diagnosed with FM (fibromyalgia), CFS (chronic fatigue syndrome), OA (osteo arthritis), RA (rheumatoid arthritis), Heavy Metal Toxicity (mostly mercury), Lupus, ADD (attention deficit disorder), Chemical Sensitivities, and Celiac disease. Besides the symptoms, such as brain fog, muscle pain, and sleep disorder that are considered part of FM and CFS, many of those diagnosed with FM and CFS also had symptoms of VV(vulvodynia), IC(interstitial cystitis), IBS ( irritable bowel syndrome), Candida, HG(hypoglycemia) and multiple allergies and chemical sensitivities.

Appropriateness of Calcium Phosphate Remedies

For all of these people, we considered the appropriateness of homeopathic kidney remedies for calcium phosphate, calcium and phosphate accumulation. Within these disease groups, the only disease groups that we did not find would potentially benefit from kidney remedies for calcium phosphate, calcium and/or phosphate accumulation were Rheumatoid Arthritis and Heavy Metal Toxicity. For these groups we made different remedies specific to their needs. Within the group of people diagnosed with FM, a small number (eight) were found to potentially benefit only from remedies for mercury toxicity, one from only an EBV remedy, and one from only DDT remedies. A more detailed description is given under concurrent conditions.

"Input Factors"

As we found the need for homeopathics for mould toxins and viruses, most notably EBV, CMV and Herpes, as well as Toxoplasma, we began to see those as "input" factors" or causative factors that contributed to the process of phosphate accumulation (based on studies described in The Pineal Gland.

"Output Factors"

Other factors, such as fatigue, pain, brain fog, disrupted sleep, depression, candida, parasites, sensitivity to chemicals (salicylic acid, alcohol, caffeine, tedion, paraquat, and salt), and toxic accumulations (mercury, DDT, and lead), we see as "output factors", or results. These appear to be the result of the compromised tissue and organ function caused by calcium phosphate, calcium and/or phosphate accumulations.
